Shona Ferguson was a creative director, producer, writer and actor.
Born Aaron Arthur Ferguson in Gaborone, Botswana, he was affectionately known as “Uncle Sho” in the media industry, was .
Born in Botswana, he was married to actress and producer Connie Ferguson.
Ferguson died on 30 July 20921 due to COVID-19 related complications.
Ferguson has acted in a number of productions including The Queen and The Kings of Joburg on Netflix.
He and Connie founded Ferguson Films. They have two daughters, one from Connie’s previous marriage.
His company has been lauded for creating gripping drama series and telenovelas for Mzansi Magic, which included The Queen, Rockville, The Wild, iGazi and The Imposter, and Netflix series Kings of Joburg.
