Starred in Penny Plain with Joyce Grenfell on an international tour and in the late 1960s, and later toured as George Bernard Shaw in the one-man presentation By George. This was brought to South Africa in 1971 by Hymie Udwin’s Academy Theatre Productions, in collaboration with PACT and Langford-Inglis. Had a distinguished career in film and TV as well.
