Die Swart Hand ("The Black Hand" - Afrikaans) by Hendrik Brand (Dr S.H. Skaife).
Originally written as a serial detective story. Brand and André Huguenet adapted it for the stage, and Huguenet directed the touring production in 1933, with himself, Lydia Lindeque, Siegfried Mynhardt, and the rest of his company.
