Bennie Gerber was a dancer, choreographer, singer, actor, director and set designer in Port Elizabeth's amateur theatre.
Not to be confused with the younger Bennie Gerber, born 1985, who is a marketing director, choreographer and is involved in theatre marketing.
He is also actively involved in Port Elizabeth theatre.

1968: Played the role of Charlie in Brigadoon for the Port Elizabeth Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
