Dramatized short stories on everyday life in Indian/Zulu/colonial Natal, first performed in 1990.
Published by Marx Publishers in the collection At the Edge and Other Cato Manor Stories in 1996.

Performance history in South Africa
1990: First performed by Charles Pillai at the Asoka Theatre, University of Durban-Westville and thereafter in Durban at the Cane Grower's Hall in March.
1990: Performed at the Baxter Studio, Cape Town, on 25 June
1991: Went on a national tour and played at the Little Theatre, Cape Town 15 April and the Standard Bank National Arts Festival, Grahamstown (starring Pat Pillai).
1991: Performed at the Edinburgh Festival
1997: Performed at the Natal Playhouse, with music composed by Siva Devar.
