Gerrit Naude (fl. 1960s) is the name of an Afrikaans playwright.

Biography

Nothing is known of the author, besides the fact that he is given as the author of Hester die Maltrap, in the programme for performances of the play by Johan Fourie and his travelling theatre company in 1964.

In 1965 Pieter Fourie toured with a play called Ester die Maltrap, said to have been written by the actor/manager Pieter Fourie for his touring company.

The name may of course be a nom de plume for either Johan Fourie or Pieter Fourie.
