He is British-born of Italian parents.
Youth
Training
He studied theatre design in London.
Career
He has designed sets and costumes internationally for all kinds of entertainment from straight plays to pub theatre and pop concerts. He lives in London and operates as a freelance designer.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
For CAPAB he designed the operas La Périchole, Carmen and the musicals Showboat, Kiss Me, Kate, South Pacific.
He designed Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Baxter, 1980), The King and I (Johannesburg, 1986), It Had To Be You, Fifth of July, Lunatic and Lover, El Grande de Coca Cola, Black Comedy, Amadeus (1981).
He also designed a National Theatre of Great Britain production of Amadeus, staged in Vienna.
