Myer Taub (19**-). Writer, director, academic.

He studied drama at the University of Cape Town.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

His debut as playwright was Southern Born. He also wrote The Hottentot Venus. He was the co-translator with Sean Mathias of a new translation of Antigone (by Sophocles).

Plays directed include Lekker Faith (with Adrian Collins, 200*), Frank'n'stein (with Adrian Collins, 200*). inHERITAGE by Myer Taub A project which combined elements of drama, heritage, memory, performance art and publishing around Cape Town's Heritage Trail in 2006.
