Meisies van Vervloë Jare ("Girls of years gone by") is a one-act play by Bartho Smit (1924 - 1986).
Also found as Meisies van Vervloë Dae ("Girls of days gone by") in some sources.

The original text
A one act play dealing with a number of older people, waiting for a young boy. This was Smit's first play, written during the early 1950s and first performed by the National Theatre Organization in 1959 in a dou8ble-bill with Moeder Hanna.
The text was published in the collection Rooibruin Blare en Ander Eenakters by Afrikaanse Persboekhandel 1968 and in Losgoed ("loose pieces", a collection of Smit's writings) by Perskor in 1974.
