Gigi Strydom (19**-2018) is an Afrikaans writer and actress.

Biography

She died in May 2018, aged 75.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

On stage she has appeared in Die Groot Wit Roos (PACT 1989), Die Laaste Sondag (PACT 1986), her voice on the answering machine in 'n Koffer in die Kas (1994).

Best known as one of the writers of the M-Net television serial Egoli: Plek van Goud. She had a role in Skollie (film) in 1984.

She had a role in Haak & Steek (a musical soap opera) which was broadcast by KykNet in 2003.
