A theatre in Durban.

The facility

A 119-seater, airconditioned theatre on the grounds of Durban High School, built for use by the Dramatic Arts Department of the school and amateur or professional companies and groups. The school was supported in the building of the theatre by Christopher Seabrooke and the theatre was named in his honour.

It has basic lighting and sound facilities, an ample foyer area, box office and ablution facilities. The stage has a false proscenium arch which is adjustable.

Other facilities for use are the Horsefly Café next to the theatre and dressing rooms below the theatre.
