Funny Peculiar is a play by British playwright Mike Stott (1944-2009).
The play premiered in a German production in 1973 at the Bochum Schauspielhaus, where the director Peter Zadek was in charge, before storming the Liverpool Everyman in 1975 and then the Mermaid Theatre and the Garrick in London the following year.
Performance history in South Africa
1987: Directed by Rex Garner for Pieter Toerien, performed at the André Huguenet Theatre and at the Baxter Theatre, featuring Gaby Lomberg, Malcolm Terrey, Mark Richardson, George Korelin, Patricia Sanders, Tobie Cronjé , Claire Robins, Lawrence Hilton, Walter Plinge.
