Later found written Twixt Axe and Crown, or Lady Elizabeth and also known simply as 'Twixt Axe and Crown.
Published as 'Twixt Axe and Crown, or Lady Elizabeth by Samuel French in 1870, 1875 and again (as Issue 367 of French's standard drama) in 1878
