She studied for a Performer’s Diploma at the University of Cape Town.

Besides her stage and film work, she runs an industrial theatre group working with social issues.
As an actress she has had roles in Sweat on Somerset (as Kirsty, 2000 and 2001), For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf (2002), Salaam Stories (2004), Hamlet (as Ophelia, 2005), The Return (2008).
Other productions include A Dream Deferred (20**), Equus (20**), Happy Endings are Extra (20**), My Body is my Home (2004?, travelling to Maputo, Paris and Amsterdam),
Roshina portrayed Sadako in the puppet play Sadako in 2013.
She performed in a play for children at the The Obs Family Festival in 2016.
