He died in February 2004 at the age of 41.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He performed in Cape Town during the Smirnoff Comedy Festival in October 1998. He was known for his impersonation of Eugene Terre’Blanche, the controversial leader of the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging on stage, as well as of other political figures. For a black man to do so required unimaginable courage and enormous comic talent.
