Contemporary Plays by African Women is an anthology of plays by women from various parts of Africa, edited by Yvette Hutchison and Amy Jephta.
Contains:
An Introduction by the editors, as well as an introduction to each individual play and its production(s), including critical notes and a bibliography on each. The plays are: Niqabi Ninja by Sara Shaarawi (Egypt); Not That Woman by 'Tosin Jobi-Tume (Nigeria); I Want to Fly by Thembelihle Moyo (Zimbabwe); Silent Voices by Adong Judith (Uganda); Unsettled by J.C. Niala (Kenya); Mbuzeni by Koleka Putuma (South Africa); Bonganyi by Sophia Mempuh Kwachuh (Cameroon).
