Biography
Born Nomzamo Mxumalo Mbatha in KwaMashu, north of Durban, on 13 July 1990, and while still at school she used to be invited to speak at other schools around Durban and was subsequently invited to become Madam Speaker in the KZN Youth Parliament.
Contribution to South African Theatre, Film, Media and Performance
She was one of the three finalists in the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search and soon thereafter (in 2013) got her first acting role in the TV soap-opera isiBaya and in 2015 starred as "Khwezi" in the e.TV drama series Umlilo.
As a TV presenter she has hosted shows such as All Access Mzansi (Season 10) and BET A-List (Season 1), and was the presenter of The South African Music Awards (Season 25).
In 2018 she moved to Hollywood, and in 2019 was cast as one of the leads in the film Coming 2 America.
