Navidad Nuestra is a folk drama of the Nativity by the contemporary Argentinian composer Ariel Ramirez.


Based on the rhythms and traditions of Hispanic America, this work was originally written in 1964 and tells the Christmas story from the annunciation to the flight into Egypt in different South American styles.


1968: Performed by the Durban Catholic Players Guild, opening on 17 December 1968. It was directed by Geoffrey Sutherland with John Montgomery, Peter Grant, Anthony Bullimore, Susan Hemphill, Ann Vels, Craig Horner, and others. Costumes designed by Geoffrey Sutherland.
