Carnival City is a casino, hotel and entertainment complex run by Sun International.

In line with its name, the whole architectural and presentational style of the complex is carnivalesque in conception.

Situated on the East Rand in Gauteng, the complex contains three performance venues, namely:

The Big Top Arena, a 3 500-seater used for big events and concerts,

The Mardi Gras Theatre used for comedy and theatre

Bru’s Bar for more cabaret style entertainment.

The Sun Park is also used on occasion for festivals and fairs.
