Peter Mashigo (19** - ) is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Lunga in the SABC1 drama series Mzansi, from 2005 to 2006.

Peter made his break in the 1987 production of Asinamali. He has also appeared in Ababhemi!, Sikulu, Daughters of Nebo: An African Opera, Mooi Street Moves, On My Birthday, The Patriot, Freak Country, Ma-Gents, Kgolo – Journey To Discovery, Cold Stone Jug and Woza Albert. In 1998 he staged managed and played the role of Brains in Not With My Gun.
Starred as Pastor Tlhong in the SABC2 sitcom Ga Re Dumele, from 2010 to 2013. Has also acted in other television series, including Ke Nako, Mponeng, Heartlines and Justice for All.
