Internet Movie Database (IMDb) website
The Internet Movie Database[1], better known by its acronym IMDb, is a comprehensive online database about international films, television programs and video games. It was created in 1990 by Col Needham and in 1998 it became a subsidiary of Amazon.com. Today it has close on 3 million film/video titles and over 5 million biographies on the database. These include most South African film and TV titles as well.
