Biography
Shareen passed away on 29 October 2018 at the age of 58.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She is best known for playing comedic characters in Afrikaans-language drama and comedy television series. Her best known roles include Meisie Moolman in the drama series Ballade Vir 'n Enkeling and Katinka in the SABC2 soap opera 7de Laan.
She has appeared on stage for PACOFS in Kinkels innie Kabel (1981), for PACT in Comrades (1986), The Taming of the Shrew (1987), Die Proponentjie (1988), The Balcony (1988). She also performed in Noises Off in 2009.
She was the owner of the Pali drama school in Pretoria.
