Shoki Mokgapa (1983/84?-2018) was a television and film actress.

Biography
Born on 17 August 1984, she had a bachelor’s degree in live performance from the Johannesburg-based AFDA film school.
She died on 25 September 2018.

Shoki made her TV debut in the second season of the SABC 3 drama series The Lab in 2008 and went on to feature in shows such as Intersexions (SABC 2)‚ Swartwater (SABC 2), Ashes to Ashes (e.tv), Those Who Can't (SABC 2), Sokhulu & Partners and The Docket (2018) as well as the British BBC series, Silent Witness, the ITV series Wild at Heart and the American drama series The Looming Tower (on Amazon Prime Video).
Her film roles include appearances in The Lab (2006), Dredd (2012), Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013), Nothing for Mahala (2013), and the Afrikaans film Sink (2015) and Sew The Winter To My Skin (2018),
In 2017 she won both a Safta Award for Best Actress in a feature film and the best actress award at the kykNET Silwerskerm Film Festival for Sink.
