Training
She studied at Rhodes University.
Career
After having been a teacher, she worked with Theatre for Africa. She then founded Sue Clarence Promotions [1], promoting shows that tour KwaZulu Natal. She is also involved with Hilton College Theatre. Apart from bringing quality productions to the theatre, she runs the Hilton Drama Festival with Geoff Thompson.
