Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
In 1964 he was appointed as one of three staff members for the newly founded Natal Performing Arts Council (NAPAC), along with the Director and a secretary. He was in effect the company manager, stage manager and general organiser.
As actor he appeared in a NAPAC production of Moeder Hanna and as "Oliver" in As You Like It.
