Jacques Malan
Jacques Malan (born 1903-1989). Journalist and author of the play Pels performed in 1935 in Cape Town. He was married to Hélène Olivier. From 1939 to 1944 he was the editor of Trek. He was known for his Marxist ideas. He eventually settled in Italy with his wife, where he died in 1989.
