He grew up in Cradock.
Training
Career
He was a regular member of the Hanekom Geselskap in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Then joined the André Huguenet company.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
His first role with the Die André Huguenet Geselskap was in Absolom, my Seun!, followed by Die Nagtegaal, (1943), Galgtou (or Die Sesde Gebod, 1945), Geleende Vere and Dodedans.
