The Bijou Troupe was a visiting company of professional variety performers.

They apparently originated from somewhere in the East, and we have the names of only two performers, Madame Julie and Monsieur Raymond, who were apparently supported by local amateurs from Cape Town. They performed in the city from February to March 1870, doing two shows in the Oddfellows' Hall in February and two plays, The Rough Diamond and The Swiss Cottage, in the Cape Town Institute building on 20 March.

Not much more is known about them, though, according to Tait (2000), there is mention of a group referred to as "Sloman and Smith's Bijou Troupe", active in Adelaide, Australia in 1874. Nothing further is heard of them in South Africa after this visit.
