J.H. de Bussy Uitgewery was a Dutch printer and publishing house, formally known as N.V. drukkerij en uitgeverij J.H. de Bussy.
Founded in Veenendaal, Netherlands, in 1868, moving its head office to Amsterdam in 1883.
The firm opened affiliated offices in Pretoria and Cape Town, the Pretoria office established in in 1895.
The company published numerous books in Dutch and Afrikaans, including newspapers and magazines, and often worked on joint publishing ventures with the Dutch firm Jacques Dusseau & Co (Cape Town), later taking over the company and renaming it the Hollandsch-Afrikaansche Uitgevers Maatshappij (HAUM).
In South Africa the latter company became independent of the mother company in 198*.
In 1967 the company fused with printers Drukkerijen v/h Ellerman Harms NV to become De Bussy-Ellerman Harms, and in 1969 also took ovedr H.J.W. Becht's Uitgeversmaatschappij NV to become De Bussy-Ellerman Harms-Becht.
