1868: First performed in the hall of the Germania Liedertafel, Cape Town, by Aurora II on 2 April.

1873: Performed by Aurora II in the Oddfellows Hall, Cape Town, on 3 July, with as an afterpiece De Bloedzuigers, of De Minnehandel in de Apotheek (Ruysch).
