The acronym for the South African Committee of Performing Arts Councils, a co-ordinating body set up in the 1980s to deal with joint issues of the five Performing Arts Councils. Have also found references to it as the South African Co-ordinating Council of Performing Arts Councils. (SACCPAC??), though this appears unlikely, since the acronym used all along seems to have been SACPAC
