De Wees uit het Gebergte ("the orphan from the mountains") is a tragedy in four acts by E. Nieuwmeyer ()[].

Written for the Rederijkers circa 1870,

1871: Performed in Dutch as De Wees uit het Gebergte by Aurora II on 19 October in the Germania Hall, Cape Town, with Zonder Geld op Reis (A.A. van der Stempel).
