Demetrios is a Biblical play by D.F. Malherbe (1881-1969).

The original text

A play based on Acts Chapter 19, telling the story of the silversmith Demetrios (Demetrius) and his struggle with, and conversion by, St Paul.

Originally published in Die Meul Dreun en Ander Toneelwerk a collection of Malherbe's full-length, by Nasionale Pers in 1943, but later also published as a single text.
