The original text
Apparently an original Dutch play, available in the 19th century, though the only reference to the play is found in F.C.L. Bosman (1928, p. 252). It was most probably a version of De Onverwagte Ontmoeting, of De verzamelaar van Natuurlyke Zeldzaamheden (by an anonymous translator, published by P. Meijer en G. Warnars, 1786), a Dutch translation of the German play
