The Magic of Asian Theatre Puppets is an exhibition of more than 100 unique examples of Asian puppetry.
The exhibition
The exhibition features the most complete collection of Asian theatre puppets in the world, established by founder of the Taiyuan Asian Puppet Theatre Museum, Dr Paul Lin. It is a vast collection which is comprised of unique puppets and related artifacts from most Asian traditions and countries including Burma, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The collection has travelled the world, and was shown in South Africa in 2017, and was on at the Iziko South African National Gallery, Cape Town, during July 2017.
