Phillip Stein (1927-2010). Businessman, cultural activist.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Founded the CNA Literary Award in the 1960s and Vita Promotions (which ran the Vita Theatre Awards and Vita Art Prize). He initiated the first Dance Umbrella at the Wits Theatre in 1989.
