BURGERS, Michele (19**- ). South African actress best known for her 2005 role as Essa Rompkin in the international science fiction television series Charlie Jade.

She was born in Beaufort West and is married to actor Danny Keogh.
Training
Attained a Performer's Diploma at the Maas Phillips School of Speech and Drama in Cape Town.
Career
Joined CAPAB Youth in 1980.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Acted in Chalk Garden and Separate Tables while she studied.
She has appeared on stage in Kat in die Donker (1980), Confetti, Kinderspeletjies, Die Proponenetjie, Arms and the Man, See How They Run, Twelfth Night as Olivia, Maynardville, 1998, Run for your Wife, TV Revue or Apocalypse Sommer Now-Now, Die Buite-Egtelike Ouma, Spooks The Caucasian Chalk Circle.
Television roles include Meeulanders, Veldslag and Binnelanders, while film roles include Friends (1994), Jump the Gun (1997) and Catch a Fire.
