Translated into Dutch as Dienspligt by Martinus Gerardus Engelman (1722?-1823)[2].
Performance history in South Africa
1818: Produced in Dutch by the amateur company Tot Nut en Vermaak on 10 October in their own theatre, with De Hoogste Lot (Hagemeister) as afterpiece.
