François Agron (17**-18**) was a French teacher of music and dance and a theatre entrepreneur at the Cape during the early 1800s.
He possibly performed in and definitely sold tickets for performances, along with his contemporaries C.E. Boniface, Mr Bourcherville, L. Meurant and J. Riaux, and most probably worked with them and the company Het Fransche Liefhebbery Geselschap.
On 15 July 1811 he produced a French play in five acts, Asmodée, ou La Philosophie du Díable, with his young students (all under 14 years of age) in Cape Town.
