Il Berretto a Sonagli is a play by Italian dramatist, novelist, poet and short story writer Luigi Pirandello [1] (1867-1936).

Performance history in South Africa
Die Narrekap was presented as part of an event entitled Drie Eenbedrywe in aid of the United Nations Children's Fund under the direction of Miems de Bruyn, date (possibly 1948) and venue unknown. The cast: Gertie Smith-Visser, Miems de Bruyn, Anneke Rossouw, Phil Loots, Robert Mohr, Morkel van Tonder, Regina Smit, Kittie Krause. Lighting by Jopie van Rijswijk.
