Entwined Lives is a play by Philip Kakaza. Set in Cape town in the savagely repressive late 1980s, this play moves beyond the clichéd vision of a divided South Africa. The four characters are ordinary people who are pawns in a greater political landscape.

A CAPAB production was directed by Itumeleng Wa-Lehure or National Arts Festival Fringe and the Baxter Theatre Centre, 1993, starring Nomkhitha Bavuma, Sticks Mdidimba, Ashley Mvumvu and Keith Just.
