A NUSAS Arts Festival was held in Cape Town in 1975.
One of the productions was My Childhood, a theatrical adaptation by Don MacLennan of Maxim Gorki’s autobiography. It’s performance there marked the swansong of the Ikhwezi Players with which MacLennan had long been associated.
