Gert Garries – 'n baaisiekel babelas ("Gert Garries - a bicycle hangover") is a play by Pieter Fourie based on scenes from Etienne Leroux's controversial novel Magersfontein, O Magersfontein. Produced in 2002 at the KKNK and at Artscape by Rooderandt Produksies, directed by Marthinus Basson with Gaerin Hauptfleisch as Assistant director and stage manager and featuring Anthony Wilson and Dawid Minnaar (at the KKNK) and Anthony Wilson and Lourens Smith at Artscape. Also played at various other festivals.
