Maljan onder die Hoenders ("Mad Jan among the chickens") is a Dutch-Afrikaans one-act farce by Melt Brink (1842–1925).

The original text

Published by J.H. de Bussy (Pretoria) and HAUM (Cape Town) in 1906, reprinted 1911, 1915, 1918, 1924.


Translations and adaptations

It was played as a replacement by director Johann Nel for the original Die Egskeiding in a production of Robert Mohr's text for Ons Hou Konsert.
