Giempie Vardien (19**-) Singer, actor.
Giempie was born in District Six and started singing at the age of seven.
A singer turned actor he has presented himself in cabaret and various variety shows throughout South Africa. He was one of the Sexy Boys in District Six - The Musical, played Ougat in the popular musical Fairyland and Chicco in Poison.
