Raeford Daniel (19**-1998) was a highly regarded South African theatre, film and ballet critic.
Daniel worked for the Rand Daily Mail, later appointed Arts Editor, a position he held until it closed in 1985. He subsequently also served as Arts Editor of The Citizen, and on his retirement continued writing on the performing arts on an ad hoc basis.
