Translated into Afrikaans, entitled Die Narrekap by Con de Villiers.
Performance history in South Africa
Die Narrekap was presented as part of an event entitled Drie Eenbedrywe in aid of the United Nations Children's Fund under the direction of Miems de Bruyn, date (possibly 1948) and venue unknown. The cast: Gertie Visser, Miems de Bruyn, Anneke Rossouw, Phil mLoots, Robert Mohr, Morkel van Tonder, Regina Smit, Kittie Krause. Lighting by Jopie van Rijswijk.
