Possibly a translation of or based on Asmodeus der Krumme Teufel, an opera comique[1] in three acts by Joseph Felix freiherr von Kurz (1770-1784)[2].
Performance history in South Africa
1811: Produced in Cape Town on 15 July 1811 in French by the teacher François Agron with his young students (under 14 years of age).
