Khaya Michael Gqibitole (also known as Khaya Gqibitole (19**-) is an academic, lecturer, theatre and media researcher and author.
Author of inter alia an article "The politics of love in Mandla Myeko's play Apho Shikala Khona Isakhwatsha ("Where the go-away bird calls")" (English in Africa, 34(2):67-77).
In 2011 he completed his PhD. thesis entitled Creativity or control? : a study of selected Xhosa radio plays in the Apartheid years in the Department English, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg.
