Translations and adaptations
The stage play was made by the SABC into a television mini-series in 2011, which was later revived into a full season of 26 episodes in 2014.
Performance history in South Africa
First staged in the Barney Simon Theatre in June 2004, directed by Clare Stopford, with Portia Gumede (Nontobeko), Lara Monamodi (Yoliswa) and Bawinile Ntshaba (Lefika).
